Who We Are

About Memphis Community Church

Rooted in faith. Built on purpose. Committed to the transformation of lives, families, and communities across Memphis, TN.

Our Mission

One Ingredient. One Mission. Transforming Communities Through Faith and Work.

We are called to shepherd people — both the saved and the unsaved — back into a right and steadfast spirit before God. Our mission is the restoration of His Sabbath rest, leading every soul toward the acquisition of a promised land — both seen and unseen.

We believe that everyone who worships with us should experience the full weight of God's power and provision. Faith, in our house, is never passive. Change happens when you place an expectation on your faith.

We stand in a pivotal moment for the global Body of Christ — a time of transition. The Church is moving beyond worship as personal refreshment alone into worship as the primary weapon God uses to dismantle the works of Satan on the earth. We are not just a congregation. We are a people positioned for kingdom impact.

Each week, our teachings are designed to offer transparent insight and foresight — unlocking the wisdom, knowledge, and most importantly understanding, of God's Word while equipping our community with practical tools for economic stabilization. Layer by layer, we pull back the principles that govern prosperous living — spiritually, personally, and financially.

"Gifts can open many doors and help you meet important people."

— Proverbs 18:16 (ERV)

What you were designed to be known for is your gift. Whether it is a skill, a trade, or a calling — God has placed something in you that is not accidental. It is the instrument He intends to use to fulfill His plan for your life. We exist, in part, to help you find it, develop it, and release it into the world.

Our Pastor

Memoir Recollection

Pastor Jeremiah and Evangelist Joy Flowers served faithfully for 15+ years as Youth Leaders, and Life-Planners in Lancaster, CA (a city therein the Los Angeles County). On April 1, 2022, led by the Holy Spirit, they transitioned to The Fountain Church in Pomona, CA — answering the greater calling God placed on their family. Friends since October 2001 and married on November 8, 2008, they are now approaching 18 years of marriage and are blessed with four sons.

What began as a family trip to Honolulu, Hawaii to celebrate Jeremiah's 40th birthday became a divine appointment. He discerned a deep, historic anguish over the land — embedded in the generational memory of its people. In the early hours of June 28 at 12:15 AM HST, the Holy Spirit moved him to watch a documentary that reignited the kingdom economic calling on his life (see "Hawaii: Stolen Paradise"). What he witnessed broke him — not just for what had been taken, but for what had never been given: the tools, language, and empowerment to rebuild.

True economic stabilization begins with a developed people. Drawing on 15+ years of executive experience in taxation, business management, and financial strategy — built upon his industry-leading enterprise BLUECHIP® — Pastor Jeremiah was given a God-breathed vision to labor with, invest in, and develop people from the inside out. That vision is simple and profound: equip everyday people with the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding they need to walk in biblical principles, sound economics, and financial freedom. February of 2024, the Lord summoned Pastor Jeremiah to set his face like flint toward the broken and underserved communities — beginning with Memphis, Tennessee. “The Work has Begun”

What We Stand For

Our Four Pillars

Everything we do is guided by four pillars that transform lives spiritually, socially, economically, and physically.

Community

We believe in the power of togetherness. Through fellowship, outreach programs, and neighborhood engagement, we create bonds that strengthen our entire community.

Family

Family is the foundation of faith. We offer marriage counseling, youth programs, and family retreats to help build unbreakable bonds rooted in love.

Economics

Financial stewardship is biblical. We offer economic literacy workshops, entrepreneurship programs, and business management counseling to help families achieve lasting prosperity.

Healthy Living

Your body is a temple. We promote wellness through fitness classes, nutrition workshops, mental health support, and community gardens.

Our Convictions

What We Believe

Our faith is anchored in the timeless truth of God's Word. These core convictions shape everything we teach, build, and become.

Jesus Christ Is Lord

We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord of all. "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name." (Philippians 2:9)

The Blood of the Cross

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ shed His blood and died on the cross for the sins of mankind. "He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross." (1 Peter 2:24)

The Resurrection & Return

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead on the third day and He is coming back again. "He is not here; he has risen, just as he said." (Matthew 28:6; John 14:3)

All Have Sinned

We believe that all have sinned and need salvation. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

Salvation Through Belief

We believe that whoever believes in the Lord Jesus Christ is saved and a part of His Church. "If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart... you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)

The Holy Trinity

We believe that God the Father and the Holy Spirit are one with the Lord Jesus Christ. "For there are three that testify: the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement." (1 John 5:7–8; John 10:30)

Baptism & the Holy Spirit

We believe that every believer needs to be filled with the Holy Spirit and baptized in water. "Repent and be baptized... and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." (Acts 2:38)

Gifts of the Holy Spirit

We believe that the Church should flow in all the gifts of the Holy Spirit. "Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good." (1 Corinthians 12:7)

The Inerrant Word of God

We believe that the Old and New Testament of the Bible are the inerrant Word of God. "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." (2 Timothy 3:16)

Teaching & Obedience

We believe in teaching the Word of God and obeying His commands. "Go and make disciples of all nations... teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19–20)

Tithes & Offerings

We believe that the church is supported with tithes and offerings. "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse... and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven." (Malachi 3:10)

Biblical Marriage

We believe that marriage is only between one natural born man and one natural born woman. "That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh." (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–5)
